Worldline Shareholder Action

Frequently asked questions

What does the action consist of?

It is a coordinated action by Worldline shareholders, led by Vermeille & Co, aimed at identifying the failings behind their losses and obtaining compensation. A first court procedure has already been initiated to request the disclosure of the company’s internal documents.

What is Worldline accused of?

Disclosing to the market information that did not reflect the reality of its situation: unjustified maintenance of financial targets, late recognition of asset impairments, overly favourable presentation of the accounts, and insufficient information on certain activities. All of this in accounts certified by its statutory auditors. These facts remain to be proven.

Who can take part?

Any shareholder who acquired Worldline shares between 27 October 2021 and 20 November 2025, whether they still hold them or have since sold them.

What happens when I provide my details?

You will be added to the list of interested persons and will receive information on the progress of the procedure. The firm will contact you when appropriate to explain the next steps. You remain free not to proceed.

How much does it cost? How is the action funded?

The action is funded by a litigation fund that covers all the costs of the procedure (lawyers’ fees, experts and court costs). You therefore have nothing to pay to take part. In the event of success, part of the sums recovered will go to the fund and the firm, with the balance paid to you. In the event of failure, these costs remain borne by the fund; any sum potentially owed to the opposing party is also covered within certain limits.

I have already sold my shares. Can I take part?

Yes. What matters is having acquired the shares during the relevant period; selling them afterwards does not prevent you from taking part.
