Privacy policy

Vermeille Legal Tech attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. This policy explains what data is collected through this site, why, and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended (the "Informatique et Libertés" law).

1. Data controller

The data controller is Vermeille Legal Tech, a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) with share capital of €1,000, whose registered office is at 20 rue Feutrier, 75018 Paris, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 944 256 411 (SIRET 944 256 411 00017), EU VAT number FR63944256411 — worldline@vermeille-avocats.com.

2. Data collected

The only data collected is the data you voluntarily provide through the "Keep me informed" form:

  • Last name and first name;
  • Email address;
  • Phone number (optional);
  • Your answer indicating whether you held Worldline shares between 27 October 2021 and 20 November 2025;
  • Your optional estimate of the losses related to Worldline shares (amount in euros).

The form is protected against automated submissions by the Cloudflare Turnstile service, which may process technical data (IP address, browser characteristics) for that sole purpose. No other data is collected without your knowledge. The site uses no tracking cookies and no audience-measurement tools.

3. Purposes

This data is used exclusively to keep you informed of the progress of the action; to contact you, when the time comes, to explain the next steps; to assess the scale of the alleged losses in connection with the action; and to manage the list of interested persons.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, given via the form checkbox. You may withdraw it at any time (see point 7).

5. Recipients

Your data is intended for Vermeille Legal Tech, the publisher of the site, and is shared with the law firm Vermeille & Co — whose lawyers are bound by professional secrecy — for the purposes of the action. It may be processed, for technical purposes only, by our processors (the site development and maintenance provider, the hosting provider, and the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam service). It is neither sold nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

6. Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as necessary to manage the action and keep interested persons informed, and is then archived or deleted in accordance with the applicable legal time limits. If you withdraw your consent, your data is deleted, unless a legal obligation requires its retention.

7. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR and the French "Informatique et Libertés" law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to worldline@vermeille-avocats.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) — 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr.

8. Cookies

The site does not use audience-measurement or advertising-tracking cookies. Only cookies strictly necessary for its operation may be set, where applicable, which do not require your consent.

9. Security

The data controller implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.
